Stagnant is a digital body of work experimenting with photogrammetry as a spatial, temporal and speculative medium within the suburban contexts of Wyndham. On Bunurong and Wadawurrung Country, the City of Wyndham is a growth corridor to new migrant families. Its flat topography, situated within the Western Victorian Volcanic Plains, has historically supported agricultural and industrial development, as well as wartime activity, contributing to the formation of a working-class landscape now undergoing rapid suburban expansion and gentrification.
Developed as part of a process-based residency at Point Cook Library, the project involved research into Wyndham’s Local History Collection at Hoppers Crossing Library alongside photogrammetric fieldwork across environments in Wyndham.
