Leisure time at the plaza (2025)
At the time, these places and aesthetics felt ordinary. The stillness of empty streets, a bounded locale, and a routine – there was a certain loneliness to it but also comfort. At the same time, I often turned to the family computer where the web games and the glow of early designs became a world of their own – vibrant, intriguing, and enclosed.
For me, the screen is both portal and boundary where representations of memory linger. These memories are different but intact, even as the aesthetics of suburban and virtual environments shift.
